The length of a rectangle is four times as long as its width. The area of the rectangle is 100 metres squared. What are the dimensions of the rectangle?

  1. The dimensions of the rectangle are lxw=100, 4nxn=100, 4(5)x5=100, 20x5=100. I just tried different numbers until I found one that worked.
