prime, composite or ......?

2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13 are prime numbers.
4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 are composite numbers
What is 1 called ?

  1. 1 is neither because the prime number definition is that is only has 2 factors (1 and itself) composite definition is that it has more than 2 factors. 1 has only 1 factor (itself) therefore it is neither
