Jack dared Cindy to figure out how she could run 3 miles in 39 minutes. Cindy ran 1 mile in 13 minutes. Cindy said that her rate of running was 39/3 miles = 13/1 mile and that if she ran 1 mile, that same speed, 3 times she would have ran 3 miles in 39 minuets. Is she correct?
